My name is Tanya Marten. Most of you probably know me best by my professional name, Tasha Lee. Several years ago, my erotic romantic comedy about spanking, Euphoric Tendencies, premiered to very enthusiastic response on the Off Off Broadway stage in New York City. After the production closed, I rewrote Euphoric Tendencies for the screen, the place I’d originally envisioned it. I am writing this letter (and, basically, outing myself) to ask for your help and support in bringing this positive, life-affirming and entertaining look at our spanking lifestyle, to a mainstream motion picture audience.

With the help of my husband, Jonathan (known to many of you by his nickname, Yoni), who directed the stage production, I created a complete Business Plan, and have begun the job of raising the money necessary to produce the film version.

Euphoric Tendencies is being co-produced by our mainstream indie production company, Soular Films, as well as the Actors Repertory Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 stage company who produced the Off Off Broadway production. And while we’re seeking investors capable of participating with larger sums in the project, we also wanted to come to our community — the spanking community — and ask for your help in getting this film made.

While we have developed specific packages for those interested in investing larger sums, even if you can contribute $50, $25, or $5, made as a tax deductible donation through the non-profit, you can be a part of making this project a reality. By the way, goods and services (i.e. things like fetish wear that can be used for costuming; toys like paddles, straps, floggers, etc.; scene furniture like a St. Andrews Cross, etc.; and even locations for shooting) are things that can be donated for a tax deduction.
